About Us

Simona L Moore CNP, LLC. is a Nurse Practitioner owned and operated primary care facility offering primary and acute care for all ages. Established in 2013, this office is dedicated to improving the quality of healthcare within the local Knox County community. With over 40 years of combined clinical experience, our nurse practitioners know that there is no such thing as a one size fits all cure, so you will never be treated with a one size fits all approach to your diagnosis.

Our goal is to provide proper preventative care and health management so that our patients can enjoy life to the fullest.  We offer a wide variety of services to include same day appointments, lab services, sports/employment/DOT physicals, women’s well visits, weekend hours, and much more.

Sheri Tharp, NP-C


Sheri graduated from Otterbein University with a Masters of Science in Nursing and earned her certification as a Certified Nurse Practitioner in 2012 through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She is board certified with the Ohio Board of Nursing as a Registered Nurse. Her practicing concentration is in family practice. She has worked as a registered nurse in the Knox County Community since 2007. She has an interest in women’s health and volunteers at the pregnancy resource center, Knox Starting Point.

Simona L Moore, CNP


Simona graduated from The Ohio State University with her Bachelors in Science of Nursing in 1990. Upon graduation she spent five years working as a registered nurse at The Ohio State Medical Center. From 1997-2000, Simona earned her Masters of Science in Nursing, and Adult Nurse Practitioner from The Ohio State University, and Family Nurse Practitioner certification from Otterbein College, now Otterbein University. Simona has practiced as a Nurse Practitioner in the local community for nearly 20 years. Simona is a board member with the Winter Sanctuary, which serves the homeless in Knox County. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, tending to her garden, and quilting.
